My short babywearing story

This is ME   featured in Babywearing Love Stories of Malaysia.
I hope that this will inspire you guys as new or even 'old' parents to babywear your kids around.

"Things people have said to me on the effects of babywearing my big toddler:

You're still carrying her? She won't become independent that way.
Her legs will stay in that froggy position forever if you're not careful.
If you're always wearing her, when will she learn to walk?
That poor girl. She must be so uncomfortable and feel suffocated in that contraption.

(I would like to say to them:) "Yes, I am and will still carry my child, even if she is getting older.
Nisriin started walking at 9 months old. No froggy legs there.

She also started talking earlier than expected. Her vocabulary is tremendously wide. I remember reading about how babywearing helps develop a child's speaking skills if you make it a habit of talking to them whilst carrying. We made that happen. Now it is a problem to not being able to keep up with all of her inquisitive questions! Hahaha.

And to those who "knows" how uncomfortable she must be in the carrier, have you not seen how this child is *always* sleeping in there? Is it not logical that a sleeping child is a fulfilled child?
Ah, I don't really care for what the nay-sayers have to say. If I lose her, can they help me find a "replacement"?"
